What happens?
York hosts the Festival of Writing with a host of workshops by top authors on how to write - how to self-edit your work - how to approach agents - and much more. Sixteen literary agents are coming to York for the event and you're invited to pitch your work to them one-to-one. Additionally many top editors, publishers and industry experts will be giving talks. You'll be listening to them - asking them questions - and lots of opportunities for informal meetings too.
